The article title is vague. Basically, cops leave purses, shopping bags, and wallets sitting alone and then arrest people who pick them up and don’t report it to the nearest police officer.

Major Filevault Bug with OS X 10.5.1 Update (and...
I’m not on Leopard yet, but my friend installed Leopard and immediately ran Software Update, thereby downloading the 10.5.1 update. It seems that this update cannot handle drives that have Filevault turned on, and so you get stuck in a “your drive needs to be repaired” cycle upon trying to login.

– Good point from BrainLog, and one reason I think people are a bit quick to write off e-book readers. (I don’t think the Kindle will catch on because it’s too expensive, but I can see e-book readers replacing books in the long-term.)

Adding PDF Support to Camino
With OS X 10.4 (Tiger), Apple gave Safari the ability to view PDFs in the browser. This is very convenient as you do not have to download the PDF and open it in another application.
